Nia Noelle’s media career has spanned two decades, beginning as a Media TV Spokesperson at Norman High School, to her formal training at The William Fulbright School of Arts in Broadcasting Journalism at the University of Arkansas, Fayetteville, Arkansas, doing TV and radio, to her professional career. This professional career has taken her to Fayetteville, North Carolina, Huntsville, Alabama, and finally to her home state, Columbus, Ohio.
Nia Noelle also teaches part-time at the Ohio School of Broadcasting, training and instructing aspiring media talent in broadcasting and behind the scenes careers. Nia Noelle has been featured in the Who’s Who in Black Columbus book 2007-2016 and was even named a Woman of Excellence.
Community service is one of her favorite things to do. Nia Noelle contributes regularly to Dress for Success, Columbus, helping with personal styling and being a source of encouragement for local women who are aspiring to enter/reenter the job force. Nia Noelle also volunteers with the “Sisters Network,” a non-profit organization focused on increasing awareness and providing assistance to minorities affected with breast cancer.
In 2015 Nia Noelle joined Fashion Week Columbus executive board and is currently serving as the a Style Director for the runway shows and all Fashion Week Columbus events. Additionally, Nia Noelle can be found emceeing/hosting various events around town, such as special events for women, girls and entrepreneurs, church and high school organizations, as well as parties and nightclubs.
In her “spare time,” Nia Noelle founded and leads fund-raising for the “Nia Noelle Scholarship Fund” which was successfully launched in 2013, awarding its first recipient that year. That accomplishment has been and will continue to be a “dream realized” for Nia Noelle. Giving back is very important to her.
Nia Noelle can easily be spotted in the Columbus metro area and identified by her beautiful smile, avant garde style, infectious laugh and stilettos!
